How YTT Schools Are Selected
Schools must meet all of the following criteria to be included in this directory:
- Verified Google Maps listing with student reviews
- Offers genuine yoga teacher training programs (200hr, 300hr, or 500hr)
- Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS) status, confirmed via the public Yoga Alliance directory
- Physical location in Bali (Ubud, Canggu, Uluwatu, Seminyak, or Sanur)
- Identifiable online presence for pricing and program data verification
How Teacher Credentials Are Assessed
Lead teacher credentials are sourced from school websites and their Yoga Alliance school profiles. We note E-RYT 200 and E-RYT 500 designations as published by the school. We do not independently verify individual teacher registrations with Yoga Alliance. Students are encouraged to confirm teacher credentials directly with the school before enrolling.
How YTT Prices Are Verified
Prices are sourced directly from school websites and booking platforms where available. We distinguish between shared accommodation, private accommodation, and tuition-only pricing tiers.
- Locate published pricing on the school website or affiliated booking platform
- Record price in USD along with the accommodation tier included
- Confirm the program is actively offered for upcoming dates
- Note the verification date shown on each school listing
How Yoga Alliance Status Is Noted
Yoga Alliance RYS (Registered Yoga School) status is checked via the public Yoga Alliance school search at yogaalliance.org. Schools must hold active RYS-200, RYS-300, or RYS-500 registration to be listed. If a school's registration lapses, it will be removed from the directory at the next verification cycle.
How Ratings Are Sourced
All ratings and review counts come from Google Maps. We do not modify or supplement these figures. We encourage visitors to read full reviews rather than relying on the aggregate score alone.
What a Listing Confirms
A YTT school listing on Best Yoga Training Bali confirms:
- The school has a verified Google Maps presence with student reviews
- Program prices are sourced from the school's published materials at the verification date shown
- Teacher credentials noted in the listing are as published by the school at time of verification
- The programs listed reflect those the school actively promotes
A listing does NOT confirm:
- We endorse or recommend the school or its teachers
- We have verified Yoga Alliance registration
- Quoted prices are comprehensive or final
